IMPOSE YOUR WILL. | On Crushing Validations

Your unhealthy desire for acceptance is killing you. You frantically seek approval from a board of advisors comprising mortals in makeup and suits, who are really just as lost and afraid.

Do you not see that you’re robbing the universe of your divinity? Don’t you realize that you’re robbing humanity of your originality?

This is why you are here. Your wins, your successes, your losses, your lessons – they are the rocks on which entire civilizations are built.

You owe it to yourself and to the rest of us, to not care what we think of you.

Stop running your life like a democracy.
It’s a DICTATORSHIP.
IMPOSE YOUR WILL!

Choose yourself

But how can you impose your own will, in a world that’s consistently trying to get you to conform to its own way? I think we’re creatures of validation, as much of what we do is often about creating impressions, gaining attention, meeting expectation, and enhancing our reputation. Regardless of our ambitions, these things matter, and most times how we affect the opinions of people about who we are or what we do, could be the difference better us just being good or great. My point is, the audience matter as much as the speaker, and their will to listen most times overrides our will to speak.
